• steps and introduction to traffic for the younger puppies (Agusto, Coraline, Devo, Eager, Nimbus, Niner,Otis; 2 PM, UA main library (corner of 3rd St. & Cherry). Your best bet for parking is the parking garage at 4th and Cherry.

• fire station at Ina and Shannon for older dogs, 2 PM

April 2013

1 (Monday): Give your fuzzy friend some Heartguard!

6-7 (Saturday & Sunday): Evals for all the puppies except Coraline, Devo, Eager, Nimbus, Niner, Otis, and Agusto. Meet at Starbucks in the Crossroads Plaza (NE corner of Grant and Swan). Your schedule's in email from Debbie.

7 (Sunday): Meeting for all puppies at SAAVI at 2:00 pm.

14 (Sunday): Meeting for these puppies at SAAVI at 2:00 pm: Agusto, Coraline, Devo, Eager, Niner, Nimbus, Otis. We will work on introducing the gentle leader (please read the handout and watch the video Debbie sent earlier this week.) Also, time permitting, we’d like to work on go-to-bed.  Please bring your towel/bed and your bait bag.

21 (Sunday): Outing to county fair for all puppies except the youngsters Coraline, Devo, Eager, and Agusto. Thanks to Sophia, this site says that you can present a $5 Bruegger’s Bagels receipt April 21st until noon to get free admission.

28 (Sunday): Puppy kindergarten for Agusto, Coraline, Devo, Eager, Niner, Nimbus, Otis. 2 pm at SAAVI.

March 2013

1 (Friday): Give your beloved some Heartguard!
3 (Sunday): Classes separated by age.

• Puppies under 20 weeks (kindergarten) meet at SAAVI at 2:00. Please bring your grooming equipment: brush, nail clippers, ear wash, and toothpaste/toothbrush.  This meeting will be run by Jusdina.
• All the other puppies meet at 2:00 by the Reid Park statues on 22nd between Alvernon and at Country Club. This meeting will be run by Katie and Michael.

10 (Sunday): Puppy kindergarten at SAAVI at 2:00.
17 (Sunday): All puppies at SAAVI at 2:00 for training and 4H meeting. We'll be discussing the trip to Fun Day and Statewide Training.
23 (Saturday): Training Day for raisers/sitters/new and interested parties. Location = Saint Bosco School Phoenix. Time = 9 – 3. Registration will begin at 8:30. Bring a bait bag, head collar, leash, jacket, kennel, go-to bed blanket, and a chair for yourself!
24 (Sunday): Meeting for the young puppies (Nimbus, Niner, Otis, Devo, Eager, Coraline, Agusto) at SAAVI at 2:00 pm.

February 2013

3 (Sunday): Meeting at SAAVI for Yonkers, Danbury, and Newhart and prospective raisers at 2 pm.
9 (Saturday): Evals will take place at Crossroads Festival (Grant and Swan). Meet at the Starbucks south of Fry's. Contact Debbie if you're unsure of your dog's time.
10 (Sunday): Puppies and raisers to UA dorms (location to be determined; organized by Hopi and Graham-Greenlee RAs). Parking update (9-Feb): The best bet for parking is now either behind the Highland dorms between the football stadium (entrance off of 6th Street just East of Highland Ave) or the 6th Street Garage (entrance off of 6th Street just West of Highland Ave).

16 (Saturday): GDB's puppy truck will be at the Foundation for Blind Children in Phoenix 12-3 pm. Lunch will be a potluck at noon, and our club is bringing dessert. (See Debbie's Feb 9 email for the project record if your dog is going back on this truck.) The FBC is at 1235 E Harmont Dr in. Phoenix AZ.Take the 51 and exit onto Northern. Head West on Northern and turn right onto 12th Place. The School Parking lot will be on your right.

17 (Sunday): 4H meeting at SAAVI at 2:00 for all puppies, including new ones.
24 (Sunday): Meeting for puppies under 20 weeks at SAAVI at 2:00.

6 (Saturday): Sandi will evaluate all puppies over the age of 5 months.

7 (Sunday): Training at SAAVI with Sandi, 2:00 pm

6 (Sunday) – training and 4H meeting at SAAVI for all puppies at 2:00

13 (Sunday) – training for Yonkers, Solo, and Payton and anyone new to the group at SAAVI at 2:00

20 (Sunday) – training for Yonkers and anyone new to the group at SAAVI at 2:00

27 (Sunday) – outing for all puppies at 2 pm at Starbucks in Crossroads (Grant and Swan). We'll divide the puppies into three-four groups to do traffic, the grocery store, obedience, and distractions. This will prepare us for the evaluations on February 8 and 9.
