8 (Sunday) - no meeting

15 (Sunday) -  NOON: Picnic in Molina Basin campground/picnic area on the left side of Catalina Highway just past the fee station.  We'll take a short hike first and then have lunch.  The club is paying for the meat, but each person should bring a side or a dessert.  Email Debbie re your meat preference.  DIRECTIONS: Drive up the Catalina Highway. When you get to the fee station, go through the non-pay lane. (We've paid for the campsite and that covers the fee.) The Molina Basin campground/picnic area is shortly after the pay station on your left. When you get there, drive through the campground back to the group picnic area on the left.  

22 (Sunday) -  outing to Pima County Fair: Meet at noon at the ticket office. Admission is $8/person, parking is $5/car. As Debbie says, this'll involve "a host of smells."

February 2012

4 (Sunday): Mandatory meeting for puppies under 20 weeks at Allen Rd at 2:30. It's optional for raisers of older pups.
12 (Sunday): Mandatory meeting for puppies under 20 weeks at Allen Rd at 2:00. The outing for raisers of older pups will be a visit to UA dorm Kaibab-Huachuca at 3:00.
18 (Saturday):  Presentation to 4H dog group. Time: 3-4 pm. Place: 4H extension office, 4210 N. Campbell.
26 (Sunday): Mandatory meeting for puppies under 20 weeks at Allen Rd at 2:30. It's optional for raisers of older pups.

January 2012

 Jan 7 (Saturday) – Sandi will evaluate returning puppies. Contact Debbie re times that work for you. This'll be on a busy street (e.g., Crossroads at Grant and Swan).
Jan 8 (Sunday) – Bus practice: Meet at 2:00 at the bus terminal to the east of the Tucson Mall. We'll practice getting on and off a bus during its driver's break and then take a ride on a regularly functioning bus. Punctuality is essential for this meeting because the buses run on a schedule.
Jan 15 (Sunday) – Essential meeting for new raisers. Allen Road at 2:30
Jan 22 (Sunday) – Goodbye party (and 4H meeting) at Debbie's starting at 2:00 pm (5681 N. Chieftan). Premiere of puppy video.
Jan 28 (Saturday) – Winter carnival and puppy truck 10 am - 3 pm at the Foundation for Blind Children (1235 E Harmont Dr.) in Phoenix. Debbie's leaving her house at 7:30 am.
Jan 29 (Sunday) – Training meeting at Allen Road at 2:30. Meetings at this day/time/location are required for raisers of new puppies until the pups have all their shots unless Debbie tells us otherwise.
